He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Floyd Freeman and Annie Mae Allison Freeman; his daughter Cynthia Freeman; his siblings, Rosa Lee Ash (Barbara Harkins) and Garnett Freeman; the mother of his children Evelyn Carrie Freeman; his granddaughter LaNa Freeman; the mother of his children Hannah Cheek; his great great grandchild Ava Marie Green; and his children-in-law, Stacy Gunner Freeman and Donald Sosebee.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Freeman of Clarkesville and Deborah; his son-in-law Steve Trotter of Demorest; his daughters, Teresa Wheeler of Toccoa and Ann Sosebee of Mt. Airy; his sister Alva Nell Wigley (LaMerle Edwards) of Buford; and his grandchildren, Jeff Freeman, Derek Freeman, Deven Trotter, Karian McDougal, Jason Wheeler, Justin Wheeler and Deanne Green. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
