He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Tidwell and Eula Tidwell; his wife Julia "Judy" Simmemon Tidwell; and his siblings, Willodene Payne, Jesse Stephens, Helen Bishop, Elizabeth Infinger, Rosie Pugh, Rudolph Tidwell and Jerry Tidwell.
He is survived by: his sister Loraine Kinsey Watts of Toccoa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
