He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Barrett and Maude Sosebee Barrett; and his wife June Moore Barrett. He is survived by: his son Gilbert; his daughter-in-law Donna Barrett of Demorest; his daughter Nancy; his son-in-law David Bentley of Cornelia; his sister Helen Barrett of Cornelia; his grandchildren, Johnathan Barrett of Fort Worth, TX., Allison Barrett of Athens, GA and Will Barrett of Hendersonville, NC.; and his sister-in-law Jerri Murphy of Hoschton.
