He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herrin and Effie Watson Herrin. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McEntire Herrin; his daughters, Melinda Herrin Church and Crystal Herrin; and his grandchildren, Krissy Herrin, Dillon Coleman (Tiffany Gilliland), Reagan Denson, Jordan Herrin and Clay Herrin (Natalie Jones). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531).
