He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde "Dock" Lawrence and Frances Lynn Vandergriff Lawrence. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Olandez and Julie Lawrence; his granddaughters, Liliana Lawrence, Lilian Olandez and Mila Olandez; his siblings, Darion Lawrence (Julie), Patty Pursley (Rickey Underwood) and Kelley Forrester (William); and his aunt Barbara Chastain (Coleman). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Starts (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A burial was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery (1526 Damascus Rd, Homer, GA 30547).
