With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jose Antonio Alvarado Macario of Cornelia, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 36. He was predeceased by: his father Gildardo Alvarado. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Zavala of Cornelia; his sons, Giovanni Alvarado of Cornelia, Anthony Alvarado of Cornelia, Joseph Alvarado of Cornelia and Dylan Alvarado of Cornelia; his mother Angelina Macario of Mexico; and his brothers, Edmundo Alvarado Macario of Demorest, Emilio Alvarado Macario of Cornelia, Matias Alvarado Macario of Mexico and Juan Alvarado Macario of Mexico.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Appletown Market (215 S Main St, Cornelia, GA 30531). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St Mark Catholic Church (5410 GA-197, Clarkesville, GA 30523). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at the Level Grove Cemetery.
