She was predeceased by: her father Rev. Curtis Wayne Conley; and her grandparents, George Conley, Sr., Ruby Conley Wood, Edward Adams and Ruby T. Adams.
She is survived by: her mother Janice Elaine Adams Conley of Cornelia; her children, Kara Nicholson and Andrew Nicholson (Alina); her granddaughter Arabella Nicholson; her siblings, Kim (Rex Gallups), Jenny (Chris Blalock) and Rev. John Wayne; her sister-in-law Theresa Conley; her nieces and nephews, John Paul, Hannah Conley, Faith Conley, Timothy Conley, Rachel, Wesley McClellon, Rebekah, Mason Murray, Sarah Kimbrell, Joanna Kimbrell, Abby Kimbrell, Austin Blalock, Mitch, Mareike Gallups, Matt Gallups and Elizabeth Gallups; and her great-niece Madelyn Murray. She is also survived by other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531).
Flowers are welcome, as are other expressions of sympathy such as wind chimes, living plants, artificial floral arrangements, lanterns, other lasting keepsakes, or memorial donations may also be made to the House of Prayer, P.O. Box 586, Demorest, Georgia 30535, in Kathy's memory.
