She was predeceased by: her mother Viola Stephens Pass Fortson; her husband Deacon Eddie Tutt of Cornelia, Georgia.; her siblings, Clifford Pass, Ernest Fortson, Jr., Willie Fortson, Oscar Fortson, Sr. (Una Christine) and Fannie Fortson Dooley (Wilborn); her nephew Michael Fortson; and her niece Ona Estelle Fortson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Crafter (Ed), Sandra "Teddy" Tutt, Marie Tutt and Phyllis Tutt; her pet Ivory; and her sister-in-law Hattie Owens Fortson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
