He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Douglas LaHayne and Vermell Chamblee LaHayne. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Bates LaHayne; his children, Justin (Whittney LaHayne), Zac (April LaHayne) and Nancy LaHayne Woodbury; his children-in-law, Justin Woodbury and Staci LaHayne; his grandchildren, Karagan, Elijah Branson, Knox LaHayne, Mose LaHayne, Emily Gowdy, Meritxell Woodbury, Colton Gowdy, Olivia Woodbury, Justean Woodbury and Bailee LaHayne; his sister Annette LaHayne Carpenter; and his brother-in-law Chris Carpenter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531).
