She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Bryan Martin and Dorothy Bell Barker Martin; and her brother Elmer Bryan Martin, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Martin; her daughters, Melisa L. Queen (James Queen) and Cheryl A. Smith (Larry Smith); her grandchildren, Leah, Andie Queen, Jack Stewart and Jessica Stewart; her great grandchild Lillian Stewart; and her sisters, Janice Connolly and Carol Strode. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at the Zion Hill Baptist Church (8503 Pea Ridge Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531).
