William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He is survived by: his parents, Alexander Fred Gosnell and Ethel Mae Truelove; his wife Kimberly Slaughter Gosnell; his sons, Justin Gosnell (Jamie) and Matthew Gosnell (Nikkie); his stepson C. J. Wade; and his siblings, Bradley Gosnell, Hubert Gosnell, April Gosnell and Wilma Rider (Johnny). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
