He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Strickland and Polly Strickland; and his brothers, David Strickland (Jenny) and Hubert Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth Davis Strickland; his daughters, Kathy Webb (Tim) and Betsy Wagenknecht; and his great grandchildren, Greyson Hedden, Harper Hedden, Janie Bohannon (Owen) and Georgia Hedden (Gunner). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel (1370 Industrial Blvd, Baldwin, GA 30511). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel (245 Central Ave, Demorest, GA 30535).
