She was predeceased by: her husband Nelson Leon Sinyard; and her daughter-in-law Melissa Owens Sinyard. She is survived by: her sister Rubye Lowe. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
