Benjamin T. Callaway Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin T. Callaway in Covington, Georgia, who passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Callaway; his wife Sara Ronice; his sister Dorothy Crim (Claude); his mother Laura Belle Callaway; and his nephew Clint Callaway.

He is survived by: his siblings, Clifford Callaway (Cheryl), Harry Callaway and Betty Griffin; his daughters, Lisa Hensley (David) and Tammy Hensley (Steve); his grandchildren, Taylor Hensley (Elizabeth), Mason Hensley (Samantha), Sarah Hensley and Tess Goodwin (Travis); and his great grandchild James Hensley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The last few years have been a struggle with Alzheimer's Dementia.
