It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Ruth Smith of Covington, Georgia, born in Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Tabor; her husband Benjamin Smith; her mother Pearl Henderson; her son Tony Stafford; her granddaughter Melanie Woods; and her great grandchild Luke McWilliams.
She is survived by: her children, Bonita Beaty (Nathan), Gary Stafford, Jerry Stafford and Marsha Stafford Drake (Buddy); her grandchildren, Ricky, Tina, Chris and Robert (RJ); her great grandchildren, Katie, Haley, Justin, Shelby, Madison and Sara; her great great grandchildren, Draven and Makalyn; and her sister Carolyn Hancock Rabon (Roscell). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many close friends.
