He was predeceased by: his significant other Barbara Ann Almand New; his son Jerry New; his siblings, Louise Smith, William New and G. W. New (Christine); and his siblings' children, Keith McBroom and Elaine New.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Harold New (Liberty) and Nia Pairer (Dustin); and his siblings, Douglas New (Linda) and Mary Ellen McBroom. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
