We announce the death of Charles Lewis Strickland of Covington, Georgia, who passed away on October 18, 2026, at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Strickland and Marguerite Pinder; and his brothers, Richard and Kenneth Strickland. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Russell, Karen Davis, Steven Strickland, Kevin Strickland, Brian Strickland and Bobby Strickland; his siblings, Reva Weekly and Melvin Strickland; and his aunts and uncles, Robbie and Sam Pinder. He is also survived by grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Philadelphia Baptist Church (4031 Davis Academy Rd, Rutledge, GA 30663).
