She was predeceased by: her husband Marion "Shorty" Ellis, Sr.; her parents, Emmett Parish and Winnie Parish; and her siblings, Bill Parish, Lanier Parish, Walker Parish, Tim Parish, Annie Lois Loyd, Peggy Parish, Myrtle House, Mildred Walden, Sarah Bohannon, Judy Allen and Jerry Parish.

She is survived by: her children, Marion Ellis, Jr. and Jason Ellis (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Tristen and Braden Ellis. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and close friends.
