She is survived by: her husband John Alan DeFoor; her children, John Matthew DeFoor of Decatur and Julia DeFoor-Reynolds (T. J.) of Decatur; and her sister-in-law Cathy Brackins. She is also survived by numerous other family members and many close friends.
