He is survived by: his father Richard Johnson; his son Richard Felix Johnson (Lacosha); his wife Polly Sims; his grandchildren, Joshua (Christian), Josh, Javonte, Steven and Cameron; his great grandchildren, Turner, Josh and A'laiya; his sisters-in-law, Lois McKibben, Joyce Hendrix and Margaret Tinsley; and his godchildren, Jerry, Sonya Carter, Jeff and Elaine Wilkerson. He is also survived by his cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Good Hope Baptist Church (1142 GA-162, Covington, GA 30016). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the P. M. Good Hope Baptist Church (1142 GA-162, Covington, GA 30016). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
