He is survived by: his children, Kristy Belmares of Gainesville, Marissa Tippens of Shady Dale and Nicholas Tippens of Newborn, Georgia; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Archuleta, Luke Tippens and Bella Tippens; his brother Butch; and his sister-in-law Rita Tippens of Alabama.
