With solemn reverence, we commemorate Edward Minge (Covington, Georgia), born in Jacksonville, Florida, whose life came to an end on August 17, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Minge and John Minge Jr.; his siblings, John "Jack" Minge III and Tonita Foster; and his nephew David Foster.

He is survived by: his wife Claudia Webb Minge; his children, Patrick Minge (Brooke), Katie Sauls and Bonnie Taliaferro (Lee); and his grandchildren, Clayton Minge, Connor Taliaferro, Mady Dorsey and Francie Sauls. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Covington First United Methodist Church.
