He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harvey Crawford and Annie Laura Adams Crawford; his former wife Patricia Joan Glover Williams; his wife Mary Judith Baugh Crawford; his brother James Burton Crawford; his son-in-law Michael Ross Page; his children, David Wesley Crawford and Deborah Ann Crawford Page; his stepsons, Larry Wayne Cheek (Cathy), James Dennis Cheek, Sr. (Susan) and Steven Mark Cheek (Tammie); his granddaughter Tiffany Michelle Brown (Levi); and his stepgrandchildren, Amy Wade (Kevin), Dottie Rowe (Kevin), James Dennis Cheek, Jr. (Aimee), Jarred Ray Cheek (Ashley), Steven Cheek, Matthew Cheek and Ansleigh Cheek.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Catherine Peeler and Bobby Clyde Crawford (Mary Ann). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of close friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the J. C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home (2157 East St, Covington, GA 30014). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of J. C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home (2157 East St, Covington, GA 30014). A burial was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at the Covington Mill Cemetery.
