He is survived by: his wife Debra Griffieth; his sons, Marcus (LaQuoya), Davin and Cameron; his grandsons, Marcus Jr., Kyree, Giovonni and Maceo Griffieth; his daughter-in-law Ciara Griffieth; and his parents, Annie Ruth Griffieth and Herman Avery, Jr..
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lester Lackey & Sons Funeral Home Chapel (1163 Reynolds Street SW, Covington, GA 30014). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Poplar Hill A. M. E. Church (623 Poplar Hill Rd, Covington, GA 30014).
