He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall Francis and Loraine Holden; his wife Mary Kimble Holden; and his siblings, Ann Loraine Frank and Randall Wayne Holden.
He is survived by: his sons, Eric Holden (Elizabeth) of Hapeville and Blair Holden (Emily) of Decatur; his grandchildren, Maggie, Lucy, Carmen and Freya; and his sister Carol Martin of Richmond. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the J. C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home (2157 East St, Covington, GA 30014). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of J. C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home (2157 East St, Covington, GA 30014).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be given to Newton County.
