Herbert Clifton Woodruff Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herbert Clifton Woodruff of Covington, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert and Exie Mae Woodruff (Atchison); his wife Dorothy Woodruff (Sargent); his son Byron Woodruff; and his siblings, Ella Fuller, Modell Montgomery, Ollie Mae Morrell, Pauline Carter, Hazel Milligan, Etta House, Ervin Woodruff and James Woodruff.
He is survived by: his children, Gloria Swinks of Oxford, Sabrina (Tim Klingel), Sherrie (Brian Campbell), Sheena and David Terrell (Richard) of Canon; his grandchildren, Glenda, Valerie, Laurie, Melinda, Jeremy, Brittany, Jessica, Leah, Jacob, Mark, James and Robert; and his brother Arthur Woodruff of Loganville. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery (1919 New Hope Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30045).
