With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Iris Pope (Covington, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2025 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Spears and Ruby Spears; her son Ken Pope; and her husbands, Joe Pope Jr. and Ralph Yancey.
She is survived by: her sons, Joe (Jeanette), Mike (Joyce) and Russell Pope (Jeanie); and her boyfriend R. C. Tarleton.
