With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Denise Turk (Covington, Georgia), born in Augusta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 52. Though Janice Denise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janice Denise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lester Lackey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (1163 Reynolds St SW, Covington, GA 30014). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethel Grove Baptist Church (520 Sewell Rd, Mansfield, GA 30055).
