It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Dell Yancey of Covington, Georgia, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Yancey (Brown) and Dewey Yancey; and his siblings, Dewey Yancey Jr., Irene Freeman, Reba Watson and Shirley McCart.
He is survived by: his son Dustin; his daughter-in-law Randi Yancey; his daughter Shanda Rolon (Wes Barnett); his brother Bobby; his sister-in-law Barbara Yancey; his sister Dianne; his brother-in-law Johnny Padget; his brother Charles; his sister-in-law Myra Yancey; his grandchildren, Miranda, Sean Diffley, Jacob Rolon, Caleb Rolon, Kaedyn Cox and Grayton Yancey; and his great grandchildren, Colton Diffley and Gracelynn Rolon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
