She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaughn Clark and Berry Lee Harrison (Smith); and her grandchildren, Jeremy Orr, Chad and Megan Wingo.
She is survived by: her husband James "Bootie" Mitchell of Covington; her children, Mike (Janet Mitchell) of Good Hope, Carol (Randy Whisenhunt) of Covington and David (Donna Mitchell) of Loganville; her grandchildren, Brandon, Angela Mitchell, Alex, Stephanie Mitchell, Eric Mitchell, Marissa Orr, Jason Whisenhunt, Clayton and Chelsey Mitchell; her great grandchild Caroline Mitchell; and her siblings, Genelle (Bill Moore), Clark (Harriett Harrison), Ela (Roger McCart), Donald and Judy (Terry Freeman). She is also survived by great grandchildren.
