With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katina Washington Johnson of Covington, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on April 2, 2024 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her parents, James Washington Sr. and Eddie Dixon Washington; her husband Jerry Johnson; her daughters, Ireka Johnson, Tyra Lockhart and Jere'Johnson; her siblings, James Washington Jr., Demetrius Johnson, Kim Williams, Demetria S. Washington, Monique Washington, Sanika Habersham and Mercedes Bibbs; her parents-in-law, Dexter Johnson and Ida Summerhill; and her grandchildren, Ireoma Johnson and Geri Johnson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Restoration Ministries (2404 Tobacco Rd, Augusta, GA 30906).
