We bid farewell to Michael Jarrell of Covington, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 30, 2025 at the age of 73. Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Jarrell and Wilma Jarrell; his grandson Justin Alan Young; his grandmother Ruby Hicks; and his siblings, Pamela Martin, Billy Jarrell, Robbie Jarrell, Michelle Conrad and Teresa Jarrell.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Jarrell; his children, Bevard (Gabette Young) and Marlo (Brent Batts); his grandchildren, Joseph Johnson, Olivia Johnson, Young, Justin Ford and Carley Ford; and his brothers, Ricky (Debra Jarrell) and Johnny (Angie Jarrell). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (6833 Church St, Lithonia, GA 30058). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Hillandale Memorial Park (6201 Hillandale Dr, Lithonia, GA 30058).
