It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Penelope Hale Blakeney of Covington, Georgia, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Noble and Gregg Noble; her former husband John Hale; her husband Reed Blakeney; and her sister Nancy Driver.
She is survived by: her brother David Noble (Cynthia) of Greenville, SC; her sibling's children, Jennifer Casey, Sally Jenkins, Penny Lackey, Nancy Reynolds and John Noble; and her stepdaughters, Reida Blakeney, Diana Bradford, Debbie Jones and Rhonda Jordan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Wheeler Funeral & Cremation Services (11405 Brown Bridge Rd, Covington, GA 30016). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
