She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sykes and Edna Clay Sykes. She is survived by: her children, Dudley T. Burgin (Troy Lee) of Lithonia, GA, Cassandra Burgin (Barron Deniese) of Grovetown, GA and Michealle Spencer (Tobie Dismukes) of Tuscaloosa, AL; and her sisters, Rowena Sykes-Worshim of Columbus, MS and Dora Lee Stokes. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
