He is survived by: his wife Judy Knight (Jackson); his daughters, Pam Holmes (Billy) and Angie McGarity (Tom); his grandchildren, Reece McGarity, Ellis McGarity, Ashley Cotner-Iacono (Anthony), Megan McGarity-Hulsey (Ben) and Lauren McGarity-Planz (Brendon); and his sisters, Jean Westmoreland and Claudine East. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
