He was predeceased by: his parents, Hebert Slaton and Dot Meadows Slaton. He is survived by: his wife Connie Peters Slaton; his children, Ben Slaton, Josh Slaton and Kristen Hadaway (Alex Hudson); and his sister Mary Ellen Norris. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
