He is survived by: his children, Wallace Todd Wilson (Elizabeth), Laura Elizabeth Pamer (Randy) and Ann Wilson Penson; his brother Earle Bryant Wilson; his sister-in-law Karen Forrer Lau; his grandsons, Samuel Joshua Penson and Jackson Burrows Wilson; his pet Sophie; and his grandchildren, Ashley and Joshua.

“So sorry to hear of Buddy's passing, I know his family is going to miss him greatly, I will. I worked with Buddy back in the early 90's to 2004 at Thermo Pac in Stone Mountain. He was my go to man when I needed help with raw materials as they came in for the production of food products. He was a gentle soul and easy to get along with. Anyone that knew him was blessed. May God rest his soul. Stan Hill”
