He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert E. Pinkstaff and Delphia L. Pinkstaff; and his siblings, Becky Lynn and Michael Pinkstaff. He is survived by : his wife Pamela; his sons, Joseph Pinkstaff (Sarah) and Samuel Pinkstaff (Frances); his grandchild Holdyn; his brother Robert Pinkstaff (Linda); his mother-in-law Sally Jennings; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Holmes (Ramona Holloway) and Gary Holmes (Tammy).
