He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Scott and Annette Scott; his wife Lora Baize Scott; his son Bobby Lee Scott; and his siblings, Bobby Darrell Scott and Barbara Ann Alderman.
He is survived by: his son William R. Scott, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Edinburg, Texas; his grandchildren, Robert Scott of Covington and Francisca Cantu of Edinburg, Texas; and his siblings, Ralph B. Scott, Jr. (Karen) of Warthen, Georgia and Terrie Dechard (Harold) of Talmo, Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many close friends.
