He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ruth; his wife Laurie; his children, Amy and Trevor Johnson (late Laurie Dawn Johnson); his son-in-law Patrick Walsh; his sidekick Ozzy; his sweet grand-puppies, Margo and Layla; his siblings-in-law, Jennifer Sluder, Connie Winkler and Dale Sluder; his extended family, Patricia West, Paige West, JC Salyer, Sherry, Tommy Hayes, Rhonda Hayes, Brendan Buechel, Andrea and Joe Christensen; his nieces and nephews, Adam and Tiesa Sluder; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Maisie and Myles; his niece Haley Sluder; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Grey and Lilly Castoe; his nieces and nephews, Rebecca, Jeff Nixon, Matthew Winkler, Anna and Keith Gabrielson; and his sister Patricia "Trish" Higginbottom (Johnson) of Chattanooga.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Ed's memory be made to the Murray County Humane Society in Crandall, GA.
