We announce the death of Minnie Lee Minter of Crandall, Georgia, who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 90. Minnie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Archie Sutton and Mayebelle Carter Sutton; her husband Bob Minter; and her siblings, Beatrice Sutton Rowe, Archie Vilous Sutton, Geneva Sutton Beasley, Benny Eldon Sutton, Opal Sutton Clayton, Mildred Sutton Stafford, Ruth Sutton Simmons and Johnny Sutton.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Minter (Trina) of Rincon, Georgia, Cheri Mahan (Warren) of Dahlonega, Georgia, Vanessa Denney (Martin) of Longwood, Florida and Phil Minter (Tina) of Trion, Georgia.; her grandchildren, Devin Mahan (Kristin), Phillip Minter, Chloe Brothanek (Ondra), Caleb Denney, Paige Minter and Peyton Minter; and her great grandchildren, Grace Mahan and Lily Mahan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
