He was predeceased by : his father Wilmer Edward Bowers; and his granddaughter Willow. He is survived by : his wife Teresa Preavtte; his mother Martha'Melton'Bowers; his children, Ronnie Bowers, Bobby Lee Preavtte, Christopher Preavtte, Anthony Preavtte, Thomas Preavtte and Ashley Kirkpatrick; his close friend Carol Brock; his brother Ricky Bowers; his grandchildren, Cadence, Mackenzie, Kaelin, Shiloh, Breanna of Bryson, C. J., Hailey, Kailey, Kinsley Tucker of Delilah, A. J., Harley and Madilynn; and his great grandchild Oggie.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
