She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton McElroy and Geneva McElroy; her former husband Edward Earl Ross Sr.; and her siblings, Mozell Hester, Louise Looper, Brenda Rice, Mary Green and Luke McElroy.
She is survived by: her stepson Edward Earl Ross Jr.; her grandchildren, Ronisha, Alexus, Porsha (John Mullon), Madison, Octavia, Tiffanie, Charlie, Edward III, Zacchaeus, Jalen, Cedric, Jacob and Ty; her great grandchildren, Nalani, Bella, Amina, Samiyah and Aayden; and her siblings, Arrie "Tina" Beasley, Cathy (Fred Lowery), Harriet (Lee Watson), John "Dutch" McElroy and Wyman McElroy (Adlene). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel (1518 Athens Rd, Crawford, GA 30630). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (100 Buddy Christian Way, Athens, GA 30605).
