He is survived by: his son Jeremy Keith Edwards of Decatur, Alabama; his sister-in-law Margaret Wyatt Edwards of Lexington; his pet Maggie; his nieces and nephews, Melanie Boatwright, Susan Yearwood (Mark) of Crawfordville, Georgia, Clinton Edwards of Lexington and Edward Stratton (Brittany) of Crawfordville, Georgia; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carmen Echols (Brandon), Rachel DeVerger (Tom), Rebecca Hannis, Abigail Stratton, Ethan Yearwood (Rina), Jakob Stratton, Ryan Stratton and Aaron Yearwood; Adalynn Hannis and William Echols. He is also survived by numerous cousins, relatives, and friends.
