He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Thomas; his children, Allen Thomas of Darien, GA, Sebrina Dinkins (Russell) of Darien, GA, Rosie Poppell (Carl) of Newberry, SC and Hope Thomas; his mother-in-law Lori Thomas; his sisters, Virginia McNear, MaryAnn Vamadore and Louise Scheer (Richard); and his grandchildren, Jordon Sawyer (Carlton) of Valona, GA, Corbin Poppell (Jason) of Darien, GA, Chase Davis of Darien, GA, Kirstie Talbert (Brad) of Brunswick, GA, Haley Smith (Dexter) of Crescent, GA, Russell Dinkins Jr. (Cayleigh), Amber Dinkins of Brantley, GA, Jonathon Davis (Savannah) of Cumming, GA, Morgan Thomas of Darien, GA, Grace Gordon, Hayden Thomas, Lillian Poppell, Hope Gordon, Addy Poppell, Leilah Poppell, Marley Poppell and Grayson Poppell.
