She was predeceased by: her parents, Crawley Wilbur Davis and Stella Maude Davis (James). She is survived by: her husband Harold Atlee Layne; her children, Adam Scott Layne of Richmond, VA and Laura Shai Hathaway (David) of Ashburn, VA.; her grandchildren, Addison, Ainsley, Jenna, Reese Hathaway, Eleanor and Adam Layne; her great grandchildren, Palmer and Wesley Layne; her brother Crawley Wilbur Davis, Jr. (Robbie); and her nieces, Katie Newton (Davis) and Kelli Garrison (Davis).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ava Jane Layne's memory to Northside Hospital Forsyth Pulmonary Rehab.
