He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Brown. He is survived by: his father Robert Brown; his wife Rebecca Brown; his children, Emily Brown, John Brown (Alexis), Anna Brown and Ian Brown; his siblings, Rebecca Boyda (Thomas) and Robert Brown; and his grandson Kent Yater.
