With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carroll Sutherland (Cumming, Georgia), born in Galax, Virginia, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his friend Larry Van Hoy; his parents, Tom Jefferson Sutherland and Virginia Edith Sutherland; and his brothers, Wayne Sutherland and Tommy Sutherland.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sutherland; his children, Melissa "Missy" Sutherland, Philip Sutherland, Tracy "Trace" Kennedy-Felker (late Willie Felker) and Brian Robinson; his grandchildren, Hunter Kennedy-Felker (Hope Felker), Justin Martin and Taylor Gibbons; his siblings, Harold Dean, Kenneth (Sutherland), Barbara (Russell) and Debbie; and his friend Pat Van Hoy.
