He was predeceased by: his father R. E. Hansard; his son Craig Daniel Hansard; and his siblings, Brenda Byrd, Alvin Hansard and Johnny Hansard.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Hansard; his children, Chuck Hansard (Kelly) and Kim Hansard; his grandchildren, Zachary Ledford (Becky) and Jamie Smith; his siblings, Henrietta Hansard, Henry Hansard, Jimmy Hansard (Linda), Raymond Hansard and Tommy Hansard; and his sister-in-law Cecelia Hansard. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
