He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Charlie (Sarah Phillips Cagle); his wife Bonnie Sanders Cagle; his grandson Clay Cagle; his sons, Charles N Cagle, Jr. and Tim Cagle (Janie); his grandchildren, Dr. Grace Cagle Smith (Thomas) and Abe Cagle; and his siblings, Jadar Cagle, Alton Cagle and Diane Cagle Green.
